HubSpot recently introduced a new standard object called Services, designed to help teams manage post-sale delivery more effectively. It’s now available across all HubSpot tiers, and it’s a strong fit for teams running customer onboarding in HubSpot!

With this update, you can now connect Arrows onboarding plans directly to HubSpot Service records, giving you a clean, dedicated space to manage onboarding inside HubSpot. If you’ve been using deals or tickets to handle onboarding workflows, this gives you another option that’s purpose-built for post-sale delivery.

You’ll be able to automate onboarding plan creation, track onboarding progress, and customize record views using the same Arrows features you’re already familiar with.

What’s new

With this update, you can:

→ Create Arrows onboarding plans directly from a Service record → View plan progress and task completion in the record view → Add Arrows app cards for Onboarding Plans, File Submissions, and Form Submissions → Build workflows using Service object properties and Arrows data → Use reporting and automation built around the Service object for customer onboarding

This gives onboarding teams a dedicated space to manage delivery, separate from sales or support pipelines.

How to get started

Setup only takes a few minutes:

→ Enable the Service object In HubSpot, go to Settings → Objects → Object Library and activate Services.

→ Build your onboarding pipeline Add the onboarding stages that match your current process

→ Customize the record view Use Customize Record to add Arrows app cards to the sidebar and overview sections.

→ Connect an onboarding plan Launch a new Arrows plan directly from the Service record. Onboarding progress updates automatically as tasks are completed.

→ Automate as needed Use HubSpot workflows to trigger plan creation or actions based on Service record properties.

🔔 Note: HubSpot’s API does not currently support timeline events on the Service object. This means Arrows activity like task completions won’t appear in the activity feed on the Service record. We do plan to support this as soon as HubSpot makes it possible for us.

Ready to try it?

You can start using the Service object with Arrows today! It’s a cleaner, more structured way to manage onboarding, especially if you’re building a new process or want to move off of shared deal/ticket pipelines.
